Timber construction example

Hello,

I’m trying to calculate my timber construction with sofistik and therefore took a look at the Sofistik example.

But I’ve got some questions regarding the following part of the example:

+PROG AQB
HEAD ‘Stress design for all design combinations’
LC TYPE (PT),(LT),(MT)
COMB GMAX LCST 201 TITL ‘extremal values’
STRE E F
ECHO STRE
END

  1. What does GMAX mean, I can’t find it in the manual?
  2. Also what does LCST mean?
  3. What does STRE stand for?

Best,
Chris

Hi Chris please read the AQB manual
You may open that manual from TEDDY menu “Help > manuals > all manuals > aqb”
For all records (First 4 letters in an input line) you will find a single chapter.

May be our videos on YouTube about TEDDY workflow will help you to understand better the input syntax.
