I assume you are talking about a steel portal frame? How did you model the brace in this case? Did you use cable elements? Mostly, users tend to make the following mistake when working with cable elements.
→ Deactivate “Intersection with Structural Lines”
→ Try to mesh the structural line with only one element

first of all try linear case to check is it deformation of structure are ~ok. it look like the error with the concept of your structure or the structure is overloaded.
