Temperature at a defined node in TEDDY

Hello SOFiSTiK Community,

I would like to extract the temperature at a defined node in TEDDY.
To model the temperature variation over one year, I used HYDRA.

The corresponding node was defined beforehand in SOFIMSHC as follows:

spt nr X Y Z BEZ
1 -#t/2 -#h/2 0.0 ‘top of st’

Is there a way to directly save the temperature to excel associated with this specific node?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Kind regards,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

if you save the temperature results in the node with HIST in HYDRA, they are also available in the result viewer. I would recommend to create a table in result viewer (results > nodes > histograms) and export this table to Excel.

Best regards

Nora

Hi Nora,

Thank you for your quick response. I saved the temperature using HIST for a specific node, and I can see the results under Graphic → Results → Quadrilateral Elements → Multiphysics → Temperature.

However, I am not sure how to create a table of the histogram in the results, as you mentioned, since there is no ‘histogram’ mentioned in it (as shown in the figure). Could you please guide me on how to do this? Is there any command to export temperature values to Excel directly?

Thank you for your help!

Kind regards,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

you should find the results here:

This is a screenshot from the example Cooling(2-2) in version 2026, which you find im Teddy under file > examples > hydra > english > thermal.

Best regards,

Nora

Ah I see. I have Sofistik 2023.. anyway thanks for your response and also your time.
