In Sap2000, user can easily define two different lateral springs.
Q1: In SofimscA manual pg. 3-57, it says “If one wants to define different lateral spring stiffness, one should define two or three separate principal springs.”
E.g.
I want to define a spring with two different lateral springs: 1e5 kN/m^3 in lateral Y direction, and 1e2 kN/m^3 in lateral X direction.
how to define it?
