I want to combine my loads with maxima. I defined the wind loads in sofiload. Some of them can occure at the same time and some of them not. How can I set the rule that for example out of three wind loads only one can be chosen for one combination?

Hello Christina,
in order to combine e.g. wind loads the definition for the use of the individual load cases at the action is important. Per default the action W – wind has the definition in record ACT W … SUP EXCL– exclusive. It means that only one load case of the action wind is used during superposition and only if it acts unfavourable.
