Hi, I am still learning Sofistik and currently looking into Beam design using the AQB program and Teddy.
So far I understand the process of setting up the AQB script, specifying the beams, the load cases and combinations etc. ending with the DESI command.
I am a bit unsure where/how to interrogate the results a but further. I’ve set ECHO FULL FULL in AQB to get the extensive report. In this report there’s a plethora of tables and values such as this one:
In this table I understand the Nrd, Myrd and Mzrd are the resistance values. Is there a way in Sofistik to get a report of how a specific resistance has been calcualted with reference to the code? Say for example I want to see how Sofistik came to the -6543.18kNm value reported in the table?
I don’t suspect Sofistik is wrong in its calculation, I mainly want to gain an understanding on how the code is interpreted and applied to make sure I’m not missing something being a newbie to the program.
