What is the difference between bedding results for QUAD element, and support force results?
I apply some bedding values CB, CT for SAR elements representing foundation. At first I thought assuming homogenous conditions I could read the “resulting bedding” as subgrade reaction. However, no matter what are the CB values, what is the load value the resulting bedding values are pretty much identical as support force values.
I can’t find any description about bedding results in manual and on the forum.
