Beam reinforcement variation

Hello,

What is the best way to define a variable reinforcement along a beam? Is it possible to define it through a variable referred to an axis? Or should you create a different section for every reinforcement change?

3 ways to do this:

  1. create diffrent sections as you wrote
  2. you can make line reinformcemnt LRF and its coordinates can be artifficialy chaging by axis variable to account reinformcent area changes
  3. modify reinforcemnt is aqb by:
    BEAM from ref A001 x 0 xe 10 cs AS cs2 100[cm2]
    which f.e. overwrite layer 2 rf in beams along axis A001 at absiccia 0 to 10 m
