Activation of Concrete Part with Age in CSM

I define a composite section. In Aqua, the steel part is activated at CS 1, the concrete part is activated at CS 2.

In SofimshA/C, this composite beam belongs to GRP 1.

In CSM.

CS NO TYPE T TITL
1 G_1 0 ‘Steel Part’
2 G_1 0 ‘Concrete Part’
3 C 10 ‘Creep and Shrinkage’

I want to activate concrete part in CS2 and assign age (T0) =14 days to the concrete part.
But the following code doesn’t work.

GRP NO ICS1 T0
1 1
1 2 14

The following code works. But I can’t assign T0 to concrete part, because ICS1=CS1 is for steel part.

GRP NO ICS1 T0
1 1

Hello

Why are you not writing:
GRP 1 ICS1 1 T0 14

If I understand you correctly, you want to set the concrete age at the first pressure to 14 days. So the first creep interval starts after 14-3=11 days (T0-TS) and lasts for 10 days. The shrinkage during the first 11 days is not applied to the composition beam.

Further backgrounds can be found within the CSM manual page 3-14 T0-TS: …
I would also recommend taking a look at the composite bridge tutorial.

www.sofistik.com > Infocenter - Overview > Documentation - Tutorials > Bridge Design > Composite Bridge > Construction Stage Manager

Or you could look at one of our CSM composite bridge tutorials within the TEDDY.

TEDDY > File > Examples > csm > english > csm3_composite_beam.dat
TEDDY > File > Examples > csm > english > csm12_composite_activation.dat
