Is there any way to access the superposition result for a given combination rule for a specific element and result type? Basically, what I need is to find is:
For a ULS combination - G_1 (LC …) is taken with gamu=1.35, G_2 (LC …) is taken with gamf=1.00, T (LC …) is taken with gamu=1.5, L_T and L_U (LC …) are taken with gamu*psi0 etc.
I am familiar with TRAC command and it is really helpful but in sake of automation I need to access the database.
MAXIMA does not save the resulting load case combinations in the CDB. Only the superposition results are stored.
The resulting load case combinations depend not only on the action combination as well as on the specific superpositions value and the position in the structure or structural member. E.g. for a two-span girder there are different resulting load case combinations for the bending moment My in the middle of the spans and in the middle support.
MAXIMA can output all determined load case combinations with ECHO SUM YES.
With the record TRAC item CSAV it is possible to save a specific load case combination and use it in a new load case with SOFiLOAD and ASE, example maxima2.dat. These workflow is only valid for initial load cases with real loads and not for difference load cases from CSM, results from eigenvalues, calculation with time-step-method or modal analyse.
For beam systems it is possible to determine all resulting load case combinations automatically for structural lines SLN or design elements DSLN with cross sections with the SSD task ‘Combine Loads’ button ‘Automatic’. These resulting load case combinations can calculate with the task ‘Analysis of the Combined Loads’.

Thank you for your answer. I am using SOFiSTiK 2022 and it does not have ECHO SUM YES option in MAXIMA. Is there an equivalent command in 2022?
I am trying to find resulting forces in SIR cut but for support forces for a foundation slab with multiple springs. Coming out of MAXIMA with supperpositioning with MAX/MIN, I believe that compression/tension forces in the springs are excluded when calculating resulting forces and I can not get the same results by a manual cross check.
For this reason, I decided to use SUM command in MAXIMA to combine the separate loadcases, but for this I need governing SUPP result.
the ECHO SUM command is available from version 2024 onwards. The current version is 2026.
It is possible to superimpose the spring forces with SUPP … ETYP SPRI TYPE P for spring force in main direction.
The record SUM has another philosophy. Here it is necessary to define load case combinations manually. To do this, you need to know whether, for example, a variable load case has an unfavourable effect and whether it belongs to the leading or accompanying action → used factor. With the SUM record all in the CDB available superposition values are calculated → e.g. if springs are available the spring forces are superimposed.
Using the SUPP record the superposition values have to be defined or you use SUPP … ETYP AUTO for the calculation of all values which are in the CDB.
