Rib in slab

Hello,

When checking self weight for ribs under slabs I noticed there’s always a substraction of the slabs weigth. Even when the rib is completely underneath the slab.

The most left is the reference beam.
Then we have three different rib sizes, that overlap the slab. These result in the correct reaction values. The two ribs to the right are respectively in contact with the slab and completely below it, but still there’s an unnecessary correction for their weight leading to smaller reactions:

Is this an error or has this way of working a purpose?

The cause for this behaviour should be the T-Beam Philosophie, please read chapter 2.3.4 in ASE manual.
For further questions here add also the data set - then everyone has the opportunity to look at the system and see all the boundary conditions.
