Pre-tensioned bolted connection

Hello Community, I want to connect a T-profile to a plate using pre-tensioned bolted connection. I have created holes in both the members, added structural lines along the hole perimeter and points at the center of the holes. I have coupled the structural lines and the point to form a rigid connection and then coupled both points rigidly as shown in the figuers. I have also added structural lines with coupling to avoid the two members passing through each other. I am unable to get the forced in the coupling, any assistance would be helpful.
Thank you.

Hi,

have you tested spring elements instead of couplings for the bolt?

Birgit

Make coupling of hole circumference to its center in both planes and then connect those center with bolt. Bolt can be modelled by beam or spring element in which you can read shear force easily.

Hallo Mico,
thank you for the response, I have replaced the coupling with beam element in between the centers of both holes. I have attached the sofistik file here, could you please confim if this is the right way or not?
