Dear Forum,
When recalculating a relaxation test, the concrete compressive stress decreases with time, as expected. However, at constant displacement, the maximum concrete compressive strain also decreases significantly. How can this be? At the same displacement, the strain must remain the same. I have eliminated the dead weight of the specimen.
