Load output at beam element section at a specific distance from joint center

Hi,

How can you obtain load output from a cross section cut at a specific distance from the joint center? I want to generate section loads (axial, in plane bending and out of plane bending) in a truss system for detailed design of joints in another software.

  • Either you make sure that the beam element starts/finishes at that very point
    E.g. place extra structural points at that position
  • or you define design sections at those locations using the decreator program
