i have a sofistik license that i received with an response email .The email contains a file that i have to save to my computer (my desktop) and then double click it in order for the license to work.It is also an education license.My problem is that my computer is old and there is a possibility it crashes .Can i use the same file and the same license to another device if something like that happens?

I have to correct myself. This procedure I have described to you only works with regular licenses. With student or trial licenses this procedure is not possible.
When you requested a student license you received an email with a Rau file from us. If you still have this file you can use it further. Otherwise you can request a new license via our website.
