Is there any way of assigning only some walls in a building to take the lateral loads while the remaining walls take vertical (gravity) loads in SOFiSTiK?
My aim is to design specific walls for earthquake walls while the remaining walls resist vertical loads only. But I want the stiffness of the gravity walls to be present in the system.
I tried with the “SOFiSTK Edge releases to slab/wall” but without success.
Has anyone been able to give a solution for this? I also wanted to design only a few walls as seismic walls while the remaining walls only resist vertical loads.
I defined some conditions along of edges of SAR 9, see screenshot 1

Now only vertical loads are taken from this wall (LCs 1+2), but loads of LC 5 are not taken. And this should also work for earthquake.

I am using Revit instead of Sofiplus, does this work in Revit as well?
