because there is no specific description of the issue I will explain some general information about the interpolation of cross sections.
SOFiSTiK offers two possibilities for the interpolation:

Interpolation between two given cross sections
Here the cross sections have be an identical structure. It means both cross sections must have the same elements with the identical names (ID). We recommend to generate one cross section and then duplicating them and modifying it. -
Interpolation of a master cross section with variables (TVAR) along an axis
The prerequisite here is to allocate in SOFiPLUS the structural lines with the master cross section to the axis → command ‘SEGment on axis’ (in DAT program SOFiMSHC record SLB item REF)
