Hello, everyone.
Is there any tutorial for design of industrial steel chimney (steel stack), especially for SOFiPLUS, how to choose elements (line and area) and how to apply load on cylindrical area?

I don’t remember any SOFiPLUS(-X) chimney tutorial, but we have a TEDDY example of a coolingtower.
Perhaps this gives you some help.

TEDDY > File > examples > sofiload > english > coolingtower.dat

Or you look at the SOFiMSHA tutorial of a silo.

TEDDY > File > examples > sofimsha > english > sofimsha10_silo.dat
