I would like to know the procedure for importing IFC files into SSD (Structural System Design). What requirements should the IFC file meet? Additionally, where can I find documentation, tutorials, or videos to learn how to perform this process correctly?
Thanks for you response , but every time that i tried to do this , the ssd app show me this , i dont know what is the procedure, in the video the info is not so good explain it, im using revit
Your IFC file may contain objects that are not recognized by our IFC import. Please ensure that your IFC file is created using version IFC 2x3 or IFC 4.0, and not a later version. Additionally, the model view definition should be set to the Structural Analysis View (analytical model).
You can verify both criteria by opening the file as a text file and searching for the keywords “FILE_SCHEMA” and “IFCSTRUCTURALANALYSISMODEL”.
Thanks for your response, but I’m still struggling with this, where can I find a tutorial or video to do this? I don’t find the option of model view definition ( see the image), so it’s not possible to set it as structural analysis view when I want to export the model as IFC file
The IFC-views generated from Revit are not supported in SSD.

You need to download the SOFiSTiK Analytical Model Generator, which serves as an interface for this purpose.
Good day,
Is there no way to use the Revit default plugin to create this analytical model? I’m trying to understand if it’s possible to create IFC analytical models in Revit or other BIM software, and what steps are needed to make them work in SOFiSTiK without using the analytical model generator plugin from sofistik. My question is more focused on working with Open BIM. What do I need to create analytical model IFC files that could work in the SOFiSTiK desktop app? For example, if I create a model in Tekla or another BIM software, how can I use this model for design in SOFiSTiK? What options do I have? What is the procedure? Do I always need to use Revit and work with the SOFiSTiK plugins, or is there a way to focus more on the Open BIM approach? like creating anlytical models in a ifc file and be able to open it and use it in sofistik
thank you very much
