When “Program SOFIMSHA : Optimization of Bandwidth” starts a problem occurs:
+++++ error no. 10900 in program GPART
Not enough memory +++++ 268898904 words missing ( 1025.8 MByte).
A maximum of ( 2046.0 MByte) is possible. Please increase M-Parameter.
I searched out in text input file this M-parameter, but there is only:
+PROG SOFIMSHA urs:Fe_2 $ Optimization of Bandwidth
HEAD Optimization of Bandwidth
PAGE LANO 1 UNII 0
CTRL OPT OPTI 2
END
and no any sign of M-parameter.
The question is: Where to find and how to increase M-parameter?
I using WinTUBE as a graphics input module and SOFiSTiK 2020 as calculations module, both student versions.
Your error was common for the old 32 bit version of SOFiSTiK. Back then windows had some constraints when working with larger systems.
Nowadays with the 64 bit version this shouldn’t be a problem anymore. You could send me your project files and I wil have a look at them.
Best regards,
Frederik Höller

Dear Mr. Höller,
I am having exactly the same problem (here: Sofimshc), eventhough I am using the 64-bit-Version of Sofistik and the data volume of my Sofistik modell ist still very small.
Could you please help me as well?
Thank you in advance.
I find a solution. Checked updates of WinTUBE an in new version there were updates about M-parameter.
And solution is:
+PROG SOFIMSHA M:151 urs:Fe_2 $ Optimization of Bandwidth
HEAD Optimization of Bandwidth
PAGE LANO 1 UNII 0
CTRL OPT OPTI 2
END
Just add M:“some number” and it’s works. I still don’t know the connection between number and amount of memory, but do know that number 400 after M: allocates approximately 1500 MB of memory.
And great thanks to Mr. Höller for his notice about 64-bit version, because when I begin calculation from WinTUBE automatically starts 32-bit version. Now calculations even faster.
