How can I assign a new cross-section to an existing SLN in SOFiSTiK using a text task?

I already have a model created with SOFiPLUS. After running some analyses, I realized that the cross-section of SLN 113 needs to be changed.

Is there a way to assign a new cross-section to an existing SLN directly through a text task ( using, for example: SYST REST; …), without reopening SOFiPLUS and modifying it there?

Yes, you can.

In SOFIMSHC, put “-” before the line you want to change.

“SLN -113 SNO …”

After changing the properties of an SLN you must mesh again! CTRL MESH 1 in SOFiMSHC!
