GRASSHOPPER and SBIM?

Hello. This is a bit long, im sorry.

I have been using SBIM for modelling bridges in Revit for geometric design. When it comes to analysis, I use SSD through SOFICAD. This means I must separately create an analytical model which can take time.

I see that RHINO/GRASSHOPPER can help with creating linked geometric and analytical model which is great. How can I use RHINO/GRASSHOPPER and SBIM together? Are there SOFISTIK components in GRASSHOPPER that can control SBIM in REVIT?

This way I can create a geometric model in Revit and analyze it in SSD all from one grasshopper script.

Or if I can use RHINO/GRASSHOPPER then there is no need to use SBIM?

The SBIM can only do geomerty design in Revit only.
It’s very unfortunate that it can’t be used for analysis.

Midas IT has a revolutionary tool called Midas CIM
It’s main purpose is geometry design, detail design and drafting.
The 3D model in CIM can be exported as an analitical model and imported into Midas Civil for structural design.

I wish SBIM can do it in the future.
