is it possible to define a friction pile (Micro piles) in sofistik? as the friction value differs acc. to the soil layer. so in case of the Micro piles, i need to define both friction and the pile tip pressure.
You can analyse piles in several ways:
- with soil as spring elements
- with elastic halfspace
- wih embedding in volume elements
in all this methods you can define unit shaft strength per length however even dependent of lateral pressure but none of them will account real stress state in soil body (f.e. like effective stress aka betha method)
