Extract data from SOFiSTiK

Hi

I am doing a structural analysis and I exported the structure node information (x,y,z coordinates) and the element data to SOFiSTiK using Teddy. What I wanted to do now is to export the deformed structural node information (x,y,z coordinates) after analysis from SOFiSTiK to a .dat file or Rhino.
Is there any way we can do this?

Hey.

  1. If I understood you correctly and you want to have access to the displacements of nodes in the .dat file for their further use, look at the example in the folder with Sofistik:

C:\Program Files\SOFiSTiK\2020\SOFiSTiK 2020\interfaces\examples\cadinp\read_node_rotations.dat

  1. If you just need nodal displacements in a convenient way, I would use the standard way to export results to excel: Home-> Results (see pic)
