ELLA - Deactivate Groups

Hello,

I am using the module Ella to apply traffic loads on my bridge model. My system includes temporary parts that are normally thought to be activated and deactivated in CSM. When i run ELLA on the same model, I can’t deactivate the temporary elements. I would normally do this with ‘grup nr x wert nein’ in Teddy but ‘grup’ is not interpreted by ELLA and my temporary structural parts are still there. Effecting the internal force distribution. Is there a way to go about this?

The ELLA module operates based on the most recently stored stiffness matrix of the system. Therefore, if you wish to exclude certain groups in the traffic loader analysis, you need to perform an ASE run before running ELLA, only activating the desired groups.
