Deformation Controlled, ULTI

Good morning

I am trying to do an deformation controlled test.

I implemented a support displacement on some of my nodes in SOFILOAD. I wanted to increase it with ULTI in ASE, but it does not increase the support displacement, but rather just takes it as a constant and increases a “real (not deformation)” load, which I have not set. So nothing changes.

Does anyone has an idea why this is the case, is a support displacement not increasable with ULTI?

I’m having the same problem with a similar load (i.e. imposed displacement in one node).

ULTI applies the full displacement at the first iteration and after that, all other iterations have no effect (other than increasing the load factor).

I also emailed Sofistik Support but haven’t had any reply yet.

If anyone has any idea is more than welcome.
