From the above text, it is clear that different functions for GAXV along the same Axis can be defined in Teddy, as long as “the next base point of the variable” are provided.
But in Grasshopper, the Variable Distribution | Expression component does’t allow you to input “the next base point of the variable”, therefore only one function can be defined for the axis.

I’ve had a quick look and your conclusion seems to be correct. A simple workaround would be to define your desired variable expression code manually in the CADINP format in the GH panel and just plug it to the SOFIMSHC component “User” input. Or evaluate your expression along the axis to obtain a list of H and V offsets and approximate it with a PT Geometry component. Hope it helps!
