Cracking in bric elements

Hello Everyone,

I currently try to use SOFISTIK to calculate a deep beam with bric elements in 3D and linear reinforcement. It seems, that it is not possible to combine the nonlinear cracking of the concrete with single reinforcement implemented as rods. I try to do this with “trag”.

If I try to use single reinforcement, the material model “beto” does not crack in nonlinear analyses.
If I use the material “lade” with single reinforcement, the iteration stops with the first cracks, although the reinforcement should have prevented it. If I check the stress in the reinforcement bars, they are near 0.

Is it possible to combine the cracking of bric elements with single reinforcement bars?

Thank you for your swift reply! It looks promising. I will try both approaches as described in the manuals and examples and do a comparison.
