Hello I am using Sofistik GH plugins and currently trying to model structural areas with spring couplings. I am trying to use the edge attributes feature in grasshopper and seem to find something weird when I simulate it. Although it introduces springs between the elements, but seems to still attach the corners of the connecting edge. In the pictures I am showing a simple example to illustrate the problem. Is there a workaround?
I really don’t want to work with SofiMSHA as my geometry is quite complicated and want to keep the whole workflow as simple as possible. Creating a gap between area elements and then coupling them would be too tedious for my actual task.
