Hello, I’m very inexperienced with Sofistik, so this may very well be a stupid question, but I’ll ask anyway. I am trying to create a model for dynamic analysis purposes and have used the sofiplus autocad software to design the model. my problem is that the result looks like each span of the bridge is an individual simply supported beam, but I need it to be continuous over the columns. What could the issue be, and how do I fix it?
Can you please share your model?

Do you work with version 2024?
Can you please convert the geometry to a Teddy file? You can go to the database and export the geometry to Teddy using the “SOFIMSHC” module. This would allow me to run it since I don’t have SOFiSTiK 2024.

I’m on 2025 actually. Here is the teddy file, I’m not sure why the self weight loadcase and eigenform analysis don’t show up. Again, I am completely new to this software so I’m sure I’m just missing something obvious.
Hi,
Your model works fine. You shouldn’t rely too much on the structure’s deformation, as it can be a bit misleading due to the flexibility of your deck.
Instead, you should look at the bending moment MY diagram under self-weight.
You’ll see that everything works perfectly and corresponds well to a continuous beam.
Here is a screenshot of the diagram.
Stay strong!

Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it!
