hi, i have used sofimsha to create my model, now i want to design my column element. those are made using beam command. column design only works with sln command. how to do column design without using sln command?

In my opinion, you might find it helpful to consider setting up your columns as SLN elements instead of beams in Sofimsha. If you’ve already created them as beams, see if there’s an option to change them to SLN within the software. I hope this suggestion proves useful for your project.
