Calculating weld stress from stresspoints in thin-walled crosssections

Greetings,
I am trying to calculate a composite bridge and followed the available tutorials.
Therefore we defined the welds of the steel crosssection as stresspoints.
These give me the normal stress and the shear stresses.
But to calculate the needed weld thickness I also need the normal stresses in vertical direction.

So is it not possible to calculate a weld thickness using the stresspoints?

This is not possible.
For beam sections you got only normal and shear stresses in longitudinal direction of the girder, but no normal stresses in plane of the cut.
