I have encountered a bug in version 2025-3:
When performing nonlinear calculations in the ASE program on a model that contains elements with orthotropic behavior, which have been modified using the GRP2 command to adjust transverse stiffnesses, an error occurs, and the calculations are stopped. The error is as follows:
This happens even though the GRP command is used to set these elements’ behavior to LINE.
You can use an alternative solution for the orthotropic behavior: define the slab with Tx = 1 mm and Ty = the actual thickness to avoid using GRP2 in ASE.
Could you let us know if that bug has been noted and will be addressed in the next realeses. For me many of my calculations models do not work in the version 2025-3 and I can not upgrade to new releases until this has been fixed. Different workarounds are not an effective solution for me. If possible please keep us updated via this post
I have other problems with 2025-3 also that I have sent through the crash report. Everything is working in version 2025-2
