I’m modeling a single-floor slab-column system (typical floor, 40 columns) in SOFiPLUS-X 2025 for a stability check. During troubleshooting an instability error, I accidentally set “All” hinges checked at the “End” of my column structural lines (via multi-selection), which released all forces (N, VY, VZ, MT, MY, MZ, MB) at the column tops.
I’m now trying to uncheck these Beam Hinges settings, but the panel doesn’t seem to save the change:
-
I select all 50 columns, open the Beam Hinges tab, and uncheck everything.
-
There’s no OK/Apply button on this panel (it appears to be a live-update sidebar panel).
-
I tried “Save settings” (the icon at the bottom of the panel) but this doesn’t work either.
-
When I close and reopen the panel, the checkboxes are checked again, as if nothing was saved.
Questions:
-
How do I properly clear Beam Hinges settings for multiple selected structural lines at once?
-
Is there a way to reset a structural line’s Beam Hinges to default (no releases) reliably?
-
As an alternative, is it possible/recommended to just delete and recreate these 50 column structural lines instead of fighting this panel?
Attached screenshots of the panel and the checkbox state.
