Additional tensile force in the longitudinal reinforcement

Hello everyone!

I’d like to ask whether the additional tensile force in the longitudinal reinforcement due to shear and torsion is automatically accounted for in AQB design, or if I need to include it manually using the parameters CTRL, VM, VAL, and VAL2.

Not, it’s not automatically accounted in AQB. And yes, you can add it with CTRL… VM… VAL…VAL2…
But please check the behaviour first in two simple systems (1-span girder and one cantilever) to become familiar with how it works.
