Nonlinear material

Hi!

I am working with a cable made of a material with a non-linear stress-strain law. Is there a way I can define such material? Maybe by inputting the significant points of the law, in similar way as with command SFLA in AQUA for nonlinear springs.

Thanks

Hello

A non-linear material can be defined with the AQUA comands SSLA or NMAT. If you need more information on how to use the command, you can have a look at the following TEDDY examples.

TEDDY > File > Examples > ase > english > nonlinear_beam
TEDDY > File > Examples > ase > english > nonlinear_quad
