Import CDB Information to Grasshopper

Hello everyone … I would like to ask how to import some results values such as Internal forces to Grasshopper file … is there a component from Sofistik Plugin in Grasshopper that can import data from CDB to Grasshopper.

Taher,

  1. If you have basic programming knowledge you can read the data from the CDB yourself. (examples are in the SOFiSTiK folder C:\Program Files\SOFiSTiK\2020\SOFiSTiK 2020\interfaces\examples).
  2. I’ve never used Grasshopper before, but based on the API description on the Grasshopper website, drawing some geometry in model space is not very difficult task.

there is also a plugin for Grasshopper that is on GitHub

It’s made by Mr. Brunneti and it’s quite good for reading information from the SOFiSTiK cdb.

It would be good when SOFiSTiK had some of its own components
